Guys Blog - New iPhone Review

After months of speculation and many rumors that surrounded the launch of the latest iPhone4, it is finally hitting the stores today. So how is it different from the iPhone 3GS that was launched last year. For those that are accident prone and tend to drop their phones, the new iPhone4 has a new glass front that is able to absorb a lot of shock and prevents it from breaking. The new iPhone4 also has a steel rim. This acts as an antenna and removes the potential problem of signal blocking. This was a problem that was felt in the earlier version.

The display of the iPhone4 has also been changed. The new 3.5” “Retina” IPS LCD display is now going to be present in all the future generations of the phone. With a 326 inch pixel resolution, the phone can provide crystal clear image and sharp web page images as well as a great zoom feature. The iPhone4 also features a 5.0 megapixel camera and iMovie will also be featured on the phone. You can also capture video and even edit them on the iPhone4. The iMovie application isn’t available for free but can be downloaded for a reasonable price.

You can now also make video calls with the new iPhone4. Many people were disappointed when the video call ability was left out in the previous version of the iPhone when it was launched last year. However the application known as ‘Face Time’ will allow the users to do video chat and video calls to other iPhone4 only. Now you can also use both the rear and from cameras on the phone. The operating system for the iPhone4is now known as iOS4 and will enable you to multitask as well. Now you can listen to your favorite piece of music while downloading the email.

The iPhone4 has increased the performance levels quite nicely. Now it comes with 7 hours of talk time, 6 hours of web browsing, 10 hours of Wi-fi, 10 hours for video and will last 300 hours on the standby mode. Currently it is being launched in the US and UK. Move Over iPhone, Here Comes LG Flutter

Here's a phone that really peaked my interest, the concept LG Flutter. When it comes to gadgets, I like stuff that is really complicated and over the top. The LG Flutter definitely fits those criteria.

The design comes from LG's contest, called "Design The Future", which as expected, is a contest for designing mobile devices that we might see in the future. The LG Flutter didn't win the contest but I think cooler than any phone I've ever seen.

The phone reminds me of a switchblade or more accurately, one of those shaving blades seen in Western movies.

Do Guys Blog More Than Girls?

Do guys blog more than girls? That is a question that has been on my mind for quite some time. We know that guys are a majority when it comes to internet forum membership and whenever there is a new female member at any forum, anywhere in the world, all of the guys on that forum flock to her first post and make her feel very welcome.

I have been visiting many websites every day recently. I don’t currently have a job, so I scour the internet looking for the latest posts on entertainment, girls, cars, funny video etc. I have come to the realization that guys blog more than girls. Most if not all the websites that I visit daily are run by guys. Maybe it’s because of the type of topics I’m looking for, which are stuff guys like, and therefore the person running the website is a guy. But I have also noticed on some of the websites where the majority of users are females, yet the site administrator is a male.

So the question is; are girls not interested in stuff for guys or things that guys are interested in? Are girls not interested in cars, entertainment, movies, music, humor, dating and other stuff guys like to do? The answer to that question is obviously no; girls might even enjoy these things more than guys. So where do these girls go to, on the internet, to find stuff girls like? The girls must visit some, if not all of the websites that guys visit. So why it that there are not as many girls blogs as there are guys blogs?

What I mean by that is, why aren’t there more female friendly blogs that cover the same or similar topics as a guys blog would? There are blogs that specifically target female audience but those are mostly fashion or gossip types of blogs. Are girls only interested in fashion and gossip? Most likely there are, but they also enjoy reading blogs about cars, humor, health & fitness and other topics mentioned earlier. We know that women are roughly 50 percent of the population and when driving around town, we see just as many female drives as male drivers. When we go shopping for clothes or groceries, there is roughly the same percentage of women in the stores as there are men.

In my opinion, women need to start blogging more and start to put themselves out there and show us what they are interested in, because we also need to look at cars, gadgets, movies, humor, entertainment and many other things from girls’ point of view. So in conclusion, I would hope there will be more girls’ blogs on the internet to compete with the vast number of guys blogs.
